Milwaukee Brewers Meltdown
The Milwaukee Brewers are in trouble. The meltdown that occurred in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the sixth inning speaks volumes.
The lead off home run Ben Sheets gave up to Andruw Jones was not a major concern. Sheets was pitching well and pitched well to both Andre Ethier and veteran Jeff Kent, despite the latter's home run.
Then came the meltdown.
Left handed first baseman James Loney sliced an outside pitch to left field. Young Ryan Braun made a diving attempt to catch the ball. It got by him. With experience Braun will not make that mistake. No matter how he played the ball, with no runners on base, the first rule is to not let the ball get by him. Instead of one out and a runner on first , the runner was on third.
Then Ben Sheets came unglued. The three run homer run to Dodger backup catcher Gary Bennett, who was hitting .118 at the time, with no RBI's this season, was his undoing.
These kind of collapses are mental and emotional and that is the responsibility of the manager.
When Braun saw his pitcher down two-zip, despite pitching a fine game, he overplayed a ball. Understandable.
The Ben Sheets collapse is inexcusable.
When I have the stomach for it we can discuss the double switch in the sixth inning which resulted in taking out Hart.
And don't even get me started on Eric Gagne.

As a struggling Brewers fan, I hope this years meltdown occurs before the All Star Game rather than after as it usually does. And Sheets - - he is a great pitcher for five games or so per year, I think it is getting close to bullet biting time for him.

It's not Gagne, it's Gag-me. Just as Derrick's last name is Turnblow. I wonder if it's not time to let Ted Simmons take the reins. 3 in a row to Boston, although I do understand that the BoSox are a very good team right now. What the Brewers need is to play a string of crappy teams. Unfortunately, the way they're playing, the Brewers are ONE of them!

As I am a baseball lover, I try to watch games whenever I have time. But, for me, and without doubt for thousands of other fans all over the world, I love the Milwaukee Brewers and I do my best to attend their games though we notice that Brewers tickets got a little pricy and hard to be found especially when we talk about some hot games. The Milwaukee Brewers tickets are a little pricy but this should not prevent us from fallowing our favourite team and support it, and this is what means to be a good fan.

My best team of MLB is The Milwaukee Brewers . This why I always fallow their games especially whenever I have some time. I’m always trying not o miss any of their game and hear about the team’s news. But The Milwaukee Brewers tickets get more pricy especially when there are some hot games. But, if we’re really good fans we should try not to be mean when we’re talking about a favourite teams. It’s not only the Brewers tickets that got pricy, but there are other major teams too, so the team needs our support and we should provide as much as we can.
