Urbina fails to Trump Cheerleaders

Professional baseball, caught in off season  winter doldrums, made a valiant attempt to push the Carolina Cheerleaders off the front page.

Philadelphia reliever Ugeth Urbina was charged with attempted murder.  The well traveled pitcher had to deal with his mother's kidnapping last year as well as face questioning last month that he assaulted several men on his ranch.

I still prefer the cheerleader story. Can you believe the Panthers actually kicked them off the team?

I am not sure how, but deep in my heart I know this incident can be used to stem the right wing assault on the right of Americans to choose their life time partners andl overs regardless of gender and sexual orientation.  Maybe if they caught a couple of lineman things would look up?
