U.S. Allies are leaving Iraq:
The last Ukrainian and Bulgarian troops have left Iraq, and Poland plans deep cuts in its deployment next year, the countries said Tuesday, the latest of several U.S. allies to draw down force levels as public demand weighs on government leaders.
The tragedy is that this not only further isolates the Unites States militarily, but it will make it more difficult to maintain an international presence to assist the new Iraqi government, if and when the fighting ever stops.
