Show me one of these news articles about something wrong with a medication- they are dangerous, they don't work, they lead to green toenails, they kill you - and I instinctively and rationally believe the authors, the researchers, the reporters, and the doctors.
Today came this one: No Evidence Cough Syrups Work: Panel
I don't care who is on this panel. It could be Keith Olbermann, Bob Franken, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jessica Rabbit, and the Reverend Billy Graham, I don't believe the findings. Now I understand their concern about over medicating children. But to assert that my 'tussin DM doesn't work is nonsense. Just ask Sara after she told me during this last cold, "Take some cough medicine, or go sleep on the porch with the dogs."
