Impeachment Is Not the Only Answer

The tight-lipped Bush regime's stonewall of the shadowy Jack Abramoff visits invalidates this government.  The Bush White House and the DeLay Congress are built on corruption, and have no moral or legal authority to enact laws, let alone appoint and confirm judges and justices.

The White House is refusing to reveal details of tainted lobbyist Jack Abramoff's visits with President Bush's staff.

Since January, 2001 the United States was victimized by gangsters collaborating with a small cabal of elected officials, many criminal, to:

• Redistrict the Congress and state legislatures so they could retain their power.
• Give billions of dollars in public money in 'no bid' contracts to their cronies and overlords both at home and abroad.
• Launch a war based on well documented lies and deceit.
• Cut taxes by the billions for the wealthiest 1.5% of Americans which shifted the burden of paying for their theft on to the backs of the poor and middle class.
• Fail to protect this nation from attack and then continue the disgrace by neglecting the homeless and displaced.
• Violate at least four provisions of the Constitution of the United States and its Amendments.

Abramoff had "a few staff-level meetings" at the Bush White House, presidential spokesman Scott McClellan said Tuesday. But he would not say with whom Abramoff met, which interests he was representing or how he got access to the White House.

Their misdeeds and crimes should not be rewarded with the conformation of Alito to the Supreme Court.  It is simply sufficient to declare that Bush's misuse of power is adequate grounds to reject his appointees.

McClellan said Tuesday that he checked on it at reporters' requests, but wouldn't discuss the private staff-level meetings. "We are not going to engage in a fishing expedition," he said.

The President of the United States is compelled to come forth and reveal his connections to gangsters, criminals and thieves, and acknowledge that he has no moral or legal authority to lead the government.
