From Live Science: Mom's Genetics Could Produce Gay Sons
The arrangement of a mother's genes could affect the sexual orientation of her son, according to a new study.
The finding, detailed in the February issue of the journal Human Genetics, adds fuel to the decade-long debate about whether so-called "gay genes" might exist.
The researchers examined a phenomenon called "X chromosome inactivation" in 97 mothers of gay sons and 103 mothers whose sons were not gay.
Interesting. But it doesn't change my thinking one bit.
Genetic or not, sexual preference, orientation, life style, or taste in clothing are no grounds for depriving anyone of any basic civil liberty or civil right under the law, and that includes marriage and serving in the military.
Though I do know both men and women who ought not be allowed to shop for themselves without an adviser.
Paul,
To me the issue of gay marriage is very important. Gays must be allowed to marry. The current system is very unfair. Why should heterosexuals be the only ones to suffer?

Jon..is that a radio spot I heard the other day?
It is difficult to believe that Wisconsin, the first state to include sexual orientation as a protected class in regards to discrimination is headed down the path of repression and bias.
