Leo Tolstoy Attacks George W. Bush

When informed that United States President George W. Bush said, education is path to democracy :

It is very hard to have free societies if the citizens cannot read. Think about that. You cannot realize the blessings of liberty if you cannot read a ballot.

I think he ripped that off from a couple of travelling buddhists who were not used to Leo's Stolichnaya, it's a little too zen for a Russian.
