Dave Zweifel at The Capital Times wrote a nice article about our coverage of Wisconsin Manufactures and Commence (WMC) and WMC's distortions about the Honda plant: Dave Zweifel: Soglin keeps eye on WMC distortions .
...WMC is the outfit that won't be happy until all corporate taxes are eliminated in Wisconsin and the poor blokes who labor for them can pick up 100 percent of the state's burden...
Of course, The Capital Times had a great Labor day editorial: Unions' plan is good medicine:
The Wisconsin State Journal recognized labor on Labor Day: The good, bad and gotta get better
Then I ran over to the WMC website to see what the Manufactures had to say to the men and women who do all the heavy lifting. Nada, Nothing, Zero, Zilch. Their most recent post was a piece attacking Jim Doyle for a strong environmental stand the Governor took.
Not a word recognizing labor.
Paul, you are dealing with a group of the cognitively challenged. On Labor Day without help from staff, they have all they can manage buttoning their gowns. I am sure that they are all out enjoying their immense wealth accrued by the leader Dubya through decades of public service.
