Many of you may have seen a Madison Metro bus with a large blue name under the driver's window in the last week, and wondered, as we did, "what's up with that?" Why is a bus named "AnaBelle" or "Cass" or Oliver?"
It's a new Metro employee morale program, first used by Federal Express on their planes, to honor employees by using their family member's names on the fleet. Twenty names were picked at random from 95 employee entries.
The newly named buses are: Calina, Peyton, Katy, Justin, Blair, Cass, Zack, Hope, Bryant, Aviel, AnaBelle, Ahnaijah, Lucas, Austin, Rachel, Marcus, Martin, Luella, Preston, & Oliver.
